We live in a grief illiterate society. As a grief educator and pastor, I'm on a mission to change that by teaching about grief and equipping people with the necessary tools to comfort and guide those who are grieving.
We often don’t know what to say to those in pain, so I created an eBook of the best and worst things to say to those in grief. Please sign up below for your free eBook.
Pastor Dave's primary goal for creating this eBook is to help you clarify your thoughts about leadership by crafting your own Leadership Point of View. A Leadership Point of View is your personal “elevator pitch” that explains your unique leadership journey - your vision, values, goals, and expectations as a leader. One of the most important things you can do as a leader is to share information about yourself with your team. This unique 20-page ebook will help you eliminate misunderstandings, improve relationships and foster loyalty.
Making Your Day Beautiful!
Exceptional Weddings for Couples that Are Spiritual but not Religious
Pastor Dave created this eBook as a free resource for pastors to give to couples to assist them in crafting their personal wedding vows. It takes the stress out of having to reinvent the wheel when it comes to writing vows. Couples love the convenience of being able to choose one of the existing vows or cutting and pasting vows to create their own. The eBook also includes "12 Tips for Writing Your Own Vows."
I believe Simon Cowell serves a redemptive purpose. Simon gives people the GIFT OF REALITY. He helps people face reality and find out what they are good at and NOT good at. Simon might say, "Singing is not your thing." Popping the bubble can set people free to pursue something they really are good at. Read more...

Thank you so much for a wonderful memorial service for my father. Everybody loved the service and your words about my father. Most importantly, my mother was especially pleased, which I think helps her with her grieving and acceptance. I am grateful that you were able to help us through this very important step in the process.

In a broad sense, the term “celebrant” simply refers to one who celebrates anything. An InSight Certified Celebrant is a person who has been trained and certified through InSight to meet the needs of families during their time of loss and to celebrate the life of the deceased. A Celebrant will meet with the family to offer guidance and consulting while planning a personalized and meaningful funeral to honor the loved one, as opposed to taking a “cookie cutter” approach to funerals. A Celebrant will have a Family Meeting Time for sharing of stories and memories. A Celebrant has a wide library of resources for readings, music and other special ceremonies to help the family design a service that honors the life.
Celebrants will work directly with the funeral director on the arrangements and elements of the service and are dedicated to the notion of providing a tribute that reflects the lifestyle and beliefs of the individual. Your service can have any elements, music and readings that are right for you and for your family.
